Frequently Asked Questions

I understand undertaking a potentially significant life style change such as improving your sleep is a big commitment.

Whilst I'm open to questions here are some common ones to put your mind at ease.

Product and Blueprint Questions

Q What is the 5 Week Deep Sleep Blueprint?

A This is my first product offering where I can assess your sleep habits, via sleep diaries you complete, on 5 live coaching calls. It is designed to assess what changes you can make to ensure you can reduce stress-induced insomnia.

Q How long are the coaching calls and how many do I get?

A All calls are a minimum of 20 minutes and potentially a maximum of 30. After the final call we can discuss options for continued support if appropriate.

Q What happens during the coaching calls?

A Primarily the calls will focus on helping you progress through your sleep journey. With sleep diary analysis we'll discuss your progress, set goals and also assess sleep habits that could be holding you back.

Q Is this done via Zoom, phone, or in person?

A All calls will be, through your choice, via Zoom, via a Whatsapp Voice Call or via a mobile or landline voice call (UK Only).

Q What is included in the sleep diary analysis?

A You'll be asked to confirm 4 time metrics each day including time you went to bed, time you fell asleep, time you woke up and time you got out of bed as well as how you feel and you can provide details of anything else you feel relevant.

Q What does the sleep habits assessment involve?

A This will involve Daniel asking you a series of generic habits questions on each call to identify things that could be impacting your sleep. Given the number of things this could be all the habits questions are asked over the 5 calls.

Suitability and Eligibility Questions

Q Is this program suitable for me if I'm not an office worker?

A The blueprint is open to anyone, although I will consider if you're on medication, undergoing a lifestyle change or event of significance or need referral to your doctor or a suitability qualified medical professional. Preferably you're over 18 to.

Q Do I need to see a doctor before starting the program?

A You do not, but I am not a doctor, so recommend it if you're concerned.

Q What if I have a diagnosed sleep disorder?

I can still consider you, but ask that you do consult a doctor or suitably qualified medical professional before undertaking the blueprint.

Q Can this help with other types of insomnia, not just work-related stress?

A Maybe. I can discuss with you the type of insomnia you have and whilst the blueprint could help, specialist referral may be more appropriate.

Pricing and Payment Questions

Q Why is it discounted from £97 to £47?

A This is an introductory offer for a limited time only.

Q Is this a one-time payment or recurring?

A Its a one-time payment. Note whilst we may discuss further support at the end of the blueprint, you are not obligated to continue at that point.

Flexibility and Support Questions

Q What does "option to pause" mean?

A The option to pause means you can stop your blueprint at any time. I know life will present obstacles sometimes so its handy to take a breather before resuming. Note that a pause is not considered a cancellation.

Q How long can I pause the program for?

A Just let me know ASAP how long you wish to pause for and we can discuss it. Its different for everyone depending upon their circumstances.

Q What further support options are available after the 5 weeks?

A The support could come in a variety of forms but will be subject to your individual needs. Another person may need an additional 1-2 calls where as someone else may need an additional 5-6. We'll discuss all the options. It may be there are other resources beyond calls which may be more helpful.

Q How does the friends and family referral bonus work?

A Here are the current terms which are subject to change...

Term 1 - Requires full Blueprint completion from you and your friend.

Term 2 - Subject to a maximum of 10 friends.

Term 3 - We reserve the right to call a deadline to the offer.

Term 4 - In the event your friends can only complete the Blueprint after the offer deadline, because of limited appointments, we will still pay out.

Term 5 - Both you and all friends you refer must leave a review and provide Blueprint feedback when asked.

Term 6 - If in UK, requires UK bank account to process a cheque or receive a bank transfer on request of bank details, depending upon your preference. Foreign pay outs may be subject to fees.

Q What happens if I can't make a scheduled coaching call?

A Ideally, you will reschedule with at least 2 full days notice. Go into your 'Your booking is confirmed' email and click the reschedule link at the bottom. Cancel the appointment and provide the reason. Once submitted follow the link to rebook the appointment again and choose a new date. Contact me if you can't find a suitable date/time.

Flexibility and Support Questions

Q How quickly will I see results?

A This really depends on you and everyone is different in terms of what they individually need and what works for them. Whilst you may start to see results within a few days, the blueprint is 5 weeks long and its ultimately more important to see the development of life long good habits and not a temporary quick fix.

Q What if I don't improve after 5 weeks?

A For some clients it may be harder based on their circumstances and there could be something else going on which may merit referral to an appropriate specialist.

Q Is there scientific evidence behind this approach?

A Yes. The blueprint and its elements have taken on board advances in the understanding of sleep and its associated science over recent years. I appreciate its hard, given how much things change, to cite particular scientific evidence and references for recommendations I may, but I do follow many who I consider experts in the field, both in sleep and other equally important disciplines such as diet, exercise, mental health, supplementation and longevity. Examples include Peter Attia, Matthew Walker, Rhonda Patrick, Andrew Huberman, Gary Brecka and many others to name a few.

Q What is your success rate with clients?

A Its only fair I am honest and as yet, as this is a new business, the success has yet to come. However, as a former personal trainer, those I trained saw results. Although in building this business I have given advice to mentors, friends and associates along the way who have thanked me for the hints and tips provided.

Logistics and Access Questions

Q When can I start the program?

A As soon as you wish, although you may prefer to consult your doctor or a suitably qualified medical professional first. Remember you waive the right to cancel the blueprint 14 days after purchase, or once you complete your first call within those 14 days, so make sure you're committed before you purchase.

Q How do I submit my sleep diary?

A I will send you a link to a form for this purpose once your first call is approved. You can also opt into daily SMS reminders to complete this throughout the blueprint.

Q What is the wake time accountability feature?

A I'll introduce you to this on the first call, but essentially, we want to make sure that the advice given works for you.

Q Do I need any special equipment or apps?

A Just the ability to make a payment, take a Whatsapp or Voice call and use the internet. Although if you'd prefer a ZOOM meeting, make sure you have ZOOM and reasonable WIFI as well on whichever device you're meeting me on.

About The Coach Questions

Q What are Daniel's qualifications?

A In respect of sleep, I have no recognised sleep accreditation at present and my opinions and advice are solely based on following sleep science myself over a number of years. You take my advice at your own risk, but I do disclaim that if in doubt, you should seek the advice of your doctor or a suitably qualified medical professional before undertaking my blueprint. I am considering being accredited in the future should the demand make it necessary.

How did you overcome your own sleep issues?

A Throughout my early life I considered my diet and exercise regimes (or lack of them) to be particularly bad, so in my 30s, joined a gym. Whilst the interest in personal training followed (and one or two Level 3 qualifications), I always felt compromised sleep did not help me adequately rest and recover, so it became an obsession. In the years since I have self-studied the ever changing science in this area to self improve such an important component of life quality. My goal is always to ensure that my sleep is at least 80-90% good, both in terms of time and quality.

Are you certified as a sleep coach?

A Not at present, but I am considering this as an area of continual professional development for myself to enable me to supply better sleep coaching and consulting services in the future.
